Beware of Stalkers

Ok. This is not going to be the massive opus I originally planned for my totally enlightening and refreshing "blog" post...;) HOWEVER, This is to be considered a public service message for one and all! I recently had an encounter with an old "friend." You all understand that word is in quotation marks for a reason. Yes?:) Well, just because you may have the BEST intentions when not judging a book by it's cover and not listening to "idle gossip" until you have your own evidence about meeting up with old "acquaintances," DO NOT FORGET THAT THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DISCRIMINATING AND DISCRIMINATION! I tried to give Kris, my hubby @mrblogger2, credit for that one, but he wouldn't take it. (If you know me AND/OR him, that is funny:) Back to the moral of this story... I do believe that you should never judge (lest ye be judged:). Those in glass houses...etc etc etc BUT sometimes EXCEPTIONS aren't the rule for a reason. No matter who you take into your life, investigate them to a certain extent before becoming too chummy! This is coming from the self-proclaimed hostess with the mostess of Metropolitan El Dorado, AR! There are some people you might discriminate against if you had some race, religion, sex, etc in mind. I don't agree with that type of discrimination. But, being a discriminating person is not at all the same. I DO consider myself to be a woman of discriminating taste (you all know I serve only the BEST boxed wine at any gathering!!) DESPITE my terribly high moral, ethical, political, and religious standards, I do my best to be friends with EVERYONE. It's not easy, and it's not for the faint hearted. I feel safe in saying that I HAVE learned my lesson in this area, but it's not a happy story, so I'll just let this stalker video illustrate my point. ;) P.S. I'd also like to think Keri Hill and Angela Means for inspiring my rant with texts about the movie, "The Help!"
